I remember making this as the cover for MDÁ this year, but somehow I ended up making a slight parody of the Albert Hoffman bicycle day blotter sheet
This time around I went back to the basics of why I decided to create "MDÁ", so the pieces I created this year are all tangible & were either made in my sketchbooks, or on a small enough surface that I'd be able to take anywhere with me without hindering the free-flowing style I adopted for this experiment...
Made both of these grey pieces in the same night. The one on the left was made during a listening party for Twelve'len's newest album "MOVE", hence the obvious choice in letters. The one on the right is what I kept envisioning as the phrase "Gnashing of teeth" became trapped in my mind and the only way I knew how to extract it from my head was to put it on paper...
